    Workers of India

I started “Workers of India” in 2024 when I was 15 years old. I noticed that people that help and support us on a daily basis such as maids, cleaners, drivers etc. do not have job security. They work informally without any written agreements or protections. I also observed that they lack awareness of government schemes that are meant to help them.

I organize hands-on workshops for India’s informal workers, especially domestic workers, and have personally helped register over 150 workers on the e-Shram portal. I also developed a simple, practical booklet to help workers understand their rights and contracts. Through my initiative, we’re building real security, dignity, and legal recognition.

Civics Innovators Fellowship - Fall 2025

During the eight week Fellowship, we explored some of the most urgent issues facing our world today, from the climate crisis to the future of media to the role of AI in learning. We practiced the skills of civic innovators and reflected on how these tools can be applied in our own communities.

As the final part of the Fellowship, I created a Case Brief that examined a complex problem within society. I chose to focus on the New York housing crisis. Click on the button below to read my brief.
